We're definitely looking to extend our wet kitchen. In fact we plan on combining the dry and wet kitchen to open up the space.
Actually we have lots of loft reno plans but again the reality of cost and time may limit the stuff we do

I had checked with my sales person yesterday, can't get the latest p8 master plan as he had been relocated to Nusa bayu.

Any p8a owner plan to extend the wet kitchen? Any idea why most of the new launch houses hv such a small wet kitchen? For easier cleaning?

Besides, is there any iPhone app can be used to access to this forum?

The status of my house resembles that of 8a in December. The flooring are all done, including the car porch. I believe the windows will be up in a week or two. Electrical points are not done up yet, though.

Any new updates on e house ah ? I never visit for 3 weeks due to school holidays.

Just now 11 plus, I see no jam so faster drove in.
Wow, e rooms and toilet doors are installed. But e doors knob are like 80s types, round knob design. Grey doors.
Paintings inside are done too ! My opp units are locked coz most things done.

Thanks for the info.

I had planned to extend my wet kitchen at the first place, but was told from my frens that it is better to have a smaller wet kitchen for easier cleaning due to the oily smoke..so, I hvnt made up my mind whether to extend it or just to keep washing machine in the existing yard. Anyway, I believe it is much depend on individual preference & requirement...

I think we can share the different reno cost quoted so that we can make the comparison here

I hv met few neighbors,who went to check for their house, during my last visit to p8a 2 weeks ago.. I heard that most of the houses in p8a were bought for family stay instead of investment..

today no jam at all. Drove in to singapore and back to jb smoothly. Same as 8a to, round knob.. Door Doesnt look solid too. Ya after they finish everything including painting, they will lock the unit. After all the house completed, they will then open again to wash and final clean the house. Thts what i notice happen at 8a.

I was wondering. 8a and 8b share the same guard sentry. When 8a is handled over, will 8b owners still allow entry into the precint?

Same entry, maybe we need to go sales office to get approval letter to show e guards. Someone posted in fb that he heard from lawyer's office that jan 2013 that uem will handover to p8b owners Liao.

This is my concern too... Even iF 8a is handed over, Contractors are still doing 8b and mayb future extensions in the precint itself. I wondr too how the security arrangement will be...

Went up to NI this afternoon around 5pm. Checked with our sales rep at the office and was told that possible delay in handing over of keys due in part to upcoming elections. He assured us that if it drags on we will be compensated but didn't say how.
The condo in Phase 8C will be launched next month. It will have it's own gate access separate from P8. Total 3 towers each 17 storeys tall and was told that the other condo project (in P7) will be even taller. Asked him about clubhouse membership and access to swimming pool for other precint residents and he says it will be up to the management to decide.
Also noticed what looked like Phase 8D units alreadymarked out on the ground with wooden guides. I'm wondering with the common access for 8A, 8B and 8D will it mean even after 8A and 8B are ready will we still expect contractors to be going in and out regularly working on 8D? Maybe they will cordon off 8D and assign it a separate temporary entry point.
Left for SG around 11pm and there was quite a jam before the JB checkpoint but sill end up clearing both sides within 1 hr.

" Before collect the key, Can you guys flood your toilet n let the water stagnant there for at least 4 hours... See whether there's any leaking.... Especially 2nd floor toilet... It can cost you a lot if you need it repair that defect...."

Very likely we would have bumped into each other! We were the family whose red car was parked at the car porch (just wanted to see how it fits). As we drove around the neighbourhood, we noticed a family who we waved to while their kid was playing at the playground, a couple driving around in a Johor car and a guy standing beside his car outside a house (assuming it's his).

Compensation sounds gd i was also there around the same time, making my usual visiting rounds before going back home. Saw a few cars, wonder if one of them was u.
