NUH: Indian FT head now actively recruiting more Indian FTs into his dept!

This is not something new-the Malaysians have been doing it for a long time.

If you have a Head of Dept/Division who is a former Malaysian, there is a good chance he will employ many Malaysians or x-Malaysians.

They can do it easily because the Head would be a Singaporean by then and many are good at concealing their backgrounds.

if you take out the visiting consultants (they would not be on the permanent staff) and the registrars - you can notice it is almost all Indians...

And ALL of the new psychologists are Indian as well (bottom of the list)... Gosh, taking over even the previously exclusive doctor jobs....

Doesn't the department head know or even care? Even though Singapore's employment rules are very lax, it's pretty obvious his hiring preferences are discriminatory... hire ALL Indian nationals?

Even if our own Singaporean study psychology till 10 x PHD also useless, because he will just hire his own countrymen. How does bringing in FT help our employment.

This kind of discriminatory hiring practises needs to be highlighted to those at the top. WTF is the parliament and PAP grassroots doing???

Some bank IT managers are also aggressively recruiting own IT staff from their own country from India and some trusted not their 'capabilities' but instead trusted their own country men by trying to convince management to recruit them....

some scared their posts as IT managers will unstable....

I think many still lack integrity.....

Some I know always have problems when it comes to system audit.

The Dept of Psychological Medicine in NUH has just gotten a new Indian FT as their head - Dr C B Khare not too long ago.

According to the source, this yaya Indian FT is slowly recruiting more and more other Indian FTs into the dept. Apparently, the power is now held by him and his cronies... some Singaporean doctors inside not too happy but couldn't do anything. I think some of them may quit. It won't be long before the whole NUH Psychological dept will be run entirely by Indian FTs.

And here's the bloody farking joke... they need interpreters when they talk to some of our Ah Pek, Ah Soh patients... and during interpretations, some of the meanings of the wordings are lost when you translate from hokkien to English... and in Psychological Medicine, it's very impt for doctors to talk and engage with patients in order to make a good dianosis of the patients psychological conditions....

Damn sad man....

Anyway, if you have elderly relatives who can't speak English but need to see psychiatrists, pls don't go to NUH...

In the IT line for these Indian FTs, I know that there are corruptions going on. The Indian Mgr will hire their own people in India. These new recruits all paid money to some middleman, it seems... whether the middleman pays to the Indian Mgr or not, well... we can only guess....
