Statestimesreview is a sensational blog and I don't think they're right to say that NSP will withdraw, although it may be true that there will be a press conference and STR heard about it. But I think it will be to clarify Sebastian's past record and reiterate that they are still going to contest the 12 seats.

NSP still has about 10 of the previous 24 candidates and all they need is 2 to 3 new members (which they have) and they are ready to go.

the biggest news this morning has to do with the more than 1000-point collapse of dow jones index. but it recovers somewhat and is now down about 100 points. at least in the u.s. stock market it goes through corrections and recoveries by natural organic cage-free market forces, unlike china's stock market which is gmo-fed, injected with heavy-handed highfalutin hormones, goes through a death spiral and not cumming back.

All NSP needs is to find someone who thinks he can win or give a good fight against both PAP and WP. Steve Chia thought he could by virtue of being former NCMP, which means he is more experienced than whoever WP will field there.

I am guessing now Kevryn Lim will go. She thinks she will do well by being a "Nicole Seah". Hazel doesn't think highly of her but Hazel is now gone.

The deposit money is secondary. NSP has enough rich towkays. The pain of the poor result comes only after the result is known. The deluded Kenneth Jeya really thought he had a chance and he won't try anymore, not because of the money.
