ATC Recording - Tigerair TR2638 Emergency Landing: Fallen Engine Cowling, Unsafe Gear Warning

I wonder what he was thinking when he said "Brace brace brace." What if the left landing gear wasn't really locked?

One of the ATC sounds very blur ...asking same questions many times.

And why is the concern on whether there is VIP on board? Would the treatment by ATC be different if there was a VIP on board?

VIP gets priority landing rights!

No VIP you die your own problem?

Just finished listening to the clip. It is chilling to think what was going on in the minds of the passengers with the plane circling round and round.

Wow...very dangerous.

"knots approved" and "not approved" sound so similar.

Exactly! Ninnabay. Emergency only if there is VIP on board.

Only Singapore got this kind of poor vocab, only-thinking-of-covering-his-ass ATC who
deals with aircraft everyday yet not aware of the term COWLING.
"Is it BOWLING?" Is not a question you want to be answering when bits of your plane have been reported missing during flight.

sounds like a m&d or shit skin ATC.

Not when they are screwing the stewardesses.

It's the next dream job for men, after adult movie actors.
