Declaring one’s candidacy is endorsed by God Himself in an Onion-worthy campaign video
is not encouraging to a non-theocracy. I like my church & state separate, thank you very much.
If Pro-Trump Christians read the Bible at all, they must just cherry-pick from the Old Testament: heavy on the passages about smiting enemies, being gay and eating shellfish.
Surely they must skip over the parts about that whole “love” thing, explored in greater detail in the New Testament by that Christ fellow.
