CAN KUM GIVE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE VOLUNTARY ? IS HE LIABLE FOR GIVING SUCH ADVICE?

Frankly I see no harm in him volunteering to give advice to any organisation he wants to for free . BUT if he is giving advice free is he liable to suits if his advice proves wrong?
Now why should any one want to sue him if he is for free?
we should have MORE lawyers (non-practising ones as well a spractising ones) that can give advice to secular organisations for FREE!
