Serious No More Beer For Sale At Roberson Quay Because Envious Sinkies Spoil Everyone's Fun! Happy Now, Assholes?

If not for the good white folk, many sinkies would not have jobs as their landlords, f&b staff, whores, junior bankers, grab drivers, etc. Sinkies should learn to be grateful instead of snitching.

Those are the upper class.

Most of those snitching and bitching (ie kpkb kiasu kiasee kaypoh the 4Ks) and the average man on the street types.

The irony is when it comes to elections the man on the street still vote the elites. They say things like how can I vote a taxi driver (as if all oppo are taxi driver) and same SES person like myself to lead me?

So subconsciously the sinkies have been trained to serve the upper class and that upper class have the right to bully them. In turn the middle class can bully the lowe class. And the lower class can bully the cheap labor foreign worker.

See how it works?

Perfect.

Would lower class people be better off being led by fellow lower class? Those lower class people can't even get their own personal lives in order. If we let such losers lead us, they will run Singapore into the ground in no time.

there is some truth in this thinking ...myself think human did evolve with some sort of memories etched in our genes ...it's my wild pet theory ...just as birds and fishes knew its origin of birth and coming back thousands of miles back to breed where they were born ...or the pack mentality of say wolves and other animals by smell selecting their pecking order

human ,particularly asians has this selection of elites by genetic memories etched within them ...my guesstimate is it was a formation of such an evolution ...but west broke that cycle where individualism prevails beyond me ...I am waiting for some enlightened soul to speak

SINGAPORE - Six men and one woman, aged between 30 and 52, will be charged in court next Tuesday (June 2) for flouting circuit breaker regulations.

They are linked to the incident where groups of people were seen gathering at various places in the Robertson Quay area on May 16, the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) said on Saturday.

These seven individuals will be charged under the Covid-19 (Temporary Measures) (Control Order) Regulations 2020.

"We take such breaches very seriously and will not hesitate to take action," Minister for the Environment and Water Resources Masagos Zulkifli said in a Facebook post on Saturday.

Earlier this month, photos of crowds along Robertson Quay had circulated on social media, showing people failing to stay at least 1m from one another in the riverside dining enclave.

Most of the people pictured were not wearing masks, while some had their masks lowered as they spoke to one another.

On May 17, URA issued a directive to some restaurants at Robertson Quay, barring them from selling alcohol for takeaway with immediate effect, as the takeaway sales had contributed to more individuals gathering in the area.

Taking your wet and wild pet theory further, it could be the basis for "past lives"/ reincarnation beliefs. This memory etched into our DNA could occasionally trigger visions of past lives which would be the memories of our ancestors.

Genes only account for about 3% of our DNA, who knows what lies in the other 97%... Memories of past lives? Latent mutant super powers?

How did the west break the cycle? My guess is their propensity for Risk taking. The East always focussed on survival and hence risk avoidance. While the West sought adventure and risk. And in risk taking they made new discoveries and broke free from old cycles.

Just speculating of course.

4 pints for $30 is a good deal. Can go home and sleep.now must find new lobang.

The big question to ask is. With all the violations of lockdowns n social distancing etc, how come the violators are not dead due to the wuhan virus? Or is the wuhan virus no different to the flu?

UK still hv monarchy but goes round the world destory other countries monarchy..... says who they are risk takers.... more like evil is in their gene...

my sentiments too ..about reincarnation and 'rebirth thingy ...I too beleive past events etched in our memory cell and given the right envoiranment it surface ...if you extend that further ,then there is some explanation for casteism practiced in India...if you are not familiar with casteism than no point discussing further...incidently LKY and his wify according to information had a lot of interest in this subject ...so much so in one of his past speech he actually proposed arranged marriages and bigomy

now ,if you had watched how commandos train ,it will be like to build memory muscles ..by repeatedly doing the same action over and over...meaning during a fall ,the commando without the slightest use of brain breaks the fall ...in short ,even our muscles cells can be trainned to memorize and react

They can try Chinese tea... healthier choice.... then try smoke opium....

SINGAPORE - Some restaurants at Robertson Quay have been barred from selling alchohol for takeaway, after people were found socialising and flouting safe distancing measures at the riverside dining enclave.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) told The Straits Times on Sunday (May 17) that these restaurants had been selling takeaway alcohol to patrons, “which had contributed to more individuals gathering around these premises”.

“To prevent such gatherings from taking place, we have issued a written direction to these restaurants to cease the sale of takeaway alcohol with immediate effect,” said an URA spokesman.

“Any contravention of such directions is an offence and we will not hesitate to take such parties to task.”

The directive comes a day after a Facebook post showing several photos of people failing to stay at least 1m from one another in the waterfront neighbourhood went viral, having been shared more than 1,700 times since Saturday (May 16) evening.

Most of the people pictured were not wearing masks, while some had their masks lowered as they spoke to one another.

The photos, taken by a recruitment manager in her 40s who wished to be known only as Ms Tan, were later shared on Facebook by a friend who goes by the handle Lectress Pat.

Ms Tan, who was exercising in the area, told The Straits Times she took the photos around 6.30pm on Saturday, after catching sight of the "alarming" crowds near the stretch of F&B outlets from Robertson Bridge to Alkaff Bridge.

People were sitting on the steps drinking and smoking, she said, and restaurants were selling beer in takeaway cups.

Netizens, noting that the chic riverside area tends to draw an expat crowd, have been quick to suggest that there might be "double standards" at play. Others called the people out on their behaviour, saying they were "selfish" and disrespectful of front-line workers.

Tap bar, which has an outlet in Robertson Quay, said in a Facebook post on Sunday that the URA had told them there would be a "total ban on the sale of alcohol, whether takeaway or delivery, by all the restaurants along the Robertson Quay area". It also noted in a comment that the police had been called in the night before to disperse a group of people who were smoking.

In an update later in the afternoon, however, it said that the authorities would allow deliveries from their Robertson Quay outlet.

URA said it was aware of online posts of people congregating around restaurants in Robertson Quay, and of "rumours of a ban on the sale of alcohol in the area".

The authority said it has been conducting regular patrols in various areas including Robertson Quay alongside relevant public agencies, and had found the majority of operators and individuals there compliant with circuit breaker measures.

But close to 30 fines and five closure orders have been issued over the past month to both individuals and business operators, said the spokesman.

Tap bar said that while its logo and promotional board were caught in one of Ms Tan's photos, it clarified that the table in the picture - which had beer cups on it - did not belong to them. The bar did not reply to netizens' queries on whether it had sold the beer that was being consumed.

All these Facebook posts have since been removed.

Buddhism sounds like a reaction against the caste system to free the people. Yes very aware of LKY's fondness of eugenics. Graduate mother scheme and all that nonsense.

The failure of the caste system would be inbreeding. Nature has seen to it that we should stop that nonsense.

Hmm good point on muscle/cell memory. The wonders of science will reveal more as time goes by. Just got to live long enough to witness it's discoveries.
