S Koreans' National Soccer Song
Before the emergence of the iPhone by Apple, my older cousin noticed something about the Nokia format. It had a different format and it seemed to make things easier for Nokia users. Besides, he was not a fan of this phone although many people around him were carrying one. I think he was an Ericsson fan. I like his old Ericsson phone with a short blinking antenna. Both Nokia and Ericsson were chic then.
Samsung and LG are dangerous. The S Koreans are no pushovers. Look at the way they make K Pop musics, movies and dramas. Even in football, they are fierce and no nonsense.

2. Nokia brand as smart phone not so popular
3. Price not cheap comparable to Samsung/Apple
4. New software platform not much consumer use and not so popular

Nokia's Embarrassing PR Gaffe
Beleaguered telecom giant Nokia apologised on Thursday for a video demonstration that led viewers to believe it had been filmed with its new smartphone but was in fact made with other equipment.
"We apologise for the confusion we created," Nokia wrote in a blog post entitled "An Apology is Due".
In the video clip screened Wednesday at a press conference for the launch of Nokia's new flagship Lumia 920 smartphone, a reflection in a window reveals that the video was not shot using a mobile phone but another type of camera.
"In an effort to demonstrate the benefits of optical image stabilisation (which eliminates blurry images and improves pictures shot in low light conditions), we produced a video that simulates what we will be able to deliver with OIS," it said.
"Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but we should have posted a disclaimer stating this was a representation of OIS only. This was not shot with a Lumia 920. At least, not yet," the Finnish company added.
Nokia, once the world leader in mobile phones, has been struggling in recent years, losing market share as consumers move to smartphones powered by Apple's iOS or Google's Android operating system.
The company enjoyed more than 40 percent of the global mobile phone market in 2008. It no longer provides its global market share figures, but has reportedly seen the number drop below 20 percent.
The company launched a new strategy a year-and-a-half ago, phasing out its Symbian smartphones in favor of a partnership with Microsoft.
On Wednesday it presented two new Windows-powered phones, the Lumia 820 and 920. While analysts were generally favourable to the phones, most suggested they would have a hard time competing with Apple's new iPhone 5 due to be launched next week.
The Nokia share price slumped more than 10 percent after Wednesday's launch, and shed another 3.0 percent in Helsinki on Thursday.
In June, the company announced 10,000 job cuts would be needed on top of the 12,000 layoffs already announced in the past 18 months, and an additional 1.6 billion euros ($2.0 billion) in cost cuts by the end of 2013.

From big screens to small screen to big again and small again. Fuck all smartphones man. Get a good camera, good mp3 player, good tablet pc and a normal phone for talking and texting just like the goodol days. Ive havent change my phone for almost 5 years and it still works great even though ive dropped it lots of times and even let my kid play with it.

You are right. A jack of all trades is a master of none. The worse thing is the batt problem. They fail to keep to their task professionally - interference (ie. a call will interrupt your cam shots or video viewing).

The ad, which can be viewed on YouTube, shows a man and a woman riding bikes, with the man supposedly shooting video with the Lumia 920.
Parts of the ad that were staged to look like they were shot by the phone were not, according to tech news site The Verge. On Wednesday, the site said it noticed a little something extra in the background of the ad.
About 30 seconds into it, the woman passes a window. A still frame from that segment, as shown on The Verge, shows a reflection in the window of what appears to be a van with a video camera much more professional than one on a camera phone.

There are some sources that claim that the Finnish shareholders are very tulan with Stephen Elop and will be pressurizing the Nokia board of directors to sack him and rethink the partnership with Microsoft.
I think if Nokia makes an Android phone, it's going to fly off the shelves. Their hardware quality is just as good as Samsung.
There's nothing wrong with selling Windows phones; even Samsung and HTC do it. Just don't make Windows phones the majority of your product portfolio.
