Malaysia to shut borders to Q2, 2021

Borders in Malaysia may be closed to international tourists until Q2, 2021, Nancy Shukri, the minister of tourism, arts and culture told the Nikkei Asian Review in an interview.

She said the government was re-drafting a list of countries deemed safe after recent outbreaks in countries previously considered as having stamped out the virus.

“We initially had a list of countries to be allowed in, but then we saw the second and third waves of coronavirus in some of these countries,” she told the Nikkei Asian Review. “So we have to restrategize our plan.”

Malaysia did reopen its border for essential travel on August 17, but this is far from allowing the resumption of mass tourism between the countries that would move the needle when it comes to the gambling operations in both. Malaysia is the biggest source market for Singapore’s two IRs.

“Even if we open our borders now, some countries are not prepared to do so, thus travel cannot happen,” she said, adding that the ministry is also in discussions with foreign missions in the country.

Haha Thanks guys. nothing great to shout about just that getting 27K in a single play is hard to come by, maybe is a lucky day for me. Not all the time i bet small 25cr I won that big. There are many times i play 25cr is like putting money into the pocket full of holes until i switch to a bigger bet like 50/75 on a 0.20c or 0.50c machine but also scared as the BR depleting like no other business when there is no hit. There once I play 25cr on a $1 machine it was like throwing 100 notes into the drain until i switched to $2 that returned all that i have put in and i run out of casino before I donate back to them!

BTW i tried the new Cash Cove deluxe machine, OMG it so freaking hard to trigger a free spin but if you lucky enough the multiplier in free spin mode can go up to x20. I hit once a full house K x17. True. Playing on min credit (25cr) means you need special combinations to hit something significant and can easily drain bankroll.

So far i seen it in MBS but don't remember seeing this in RWS. On normal mode it has multiplier of 1-5x but it only go up to the next multiplier if you get a hit continuously. So far I get 5 hit in a row and the 6 spin does not have any matching so I not sure if it back to x1 or remain at x5. In free spin mode it does go up to x20 probably more but do take note that the features is not east to hit at least for me.

Probably what I wrote here might cause others reader to misinterpret that play big will always win big. It’s not that playing bigger bet neither higher denom would necessary mean giving us a sure big hit all the times, yes it might has a better chance of getting a nice hit in Theory but could also mean nothing. It’s also not that playing small will get peanut always and similarly you can’t lose in every visit all the time and you can’t win in all your casino visit, we win some we lose some. BTW is not just me but many here have won big in a small bet on a smaller denom machine.

One has to remember that if you can win big today you equally can lose big or bigger than your win on the next play, there is no method, style, or know which machine will pay out. I’m more than agreeable that it all about Timing rather than bet or denom.
