[h=1]NETIZEN CAPTURES VIDEO OF RSAF MISSING MAN FORMATION WHICH MEDIACORP MISSED[/h]
Post date:
29 Mar 2015 - 5:34pm
An aerial salute to Mr Lee Kuan Yew was performed by the RSAF Black Knights today with a Missing Man Formation fly-past.
It had been announced on Friday that they would be doing the fly-past (RSAF TO FLY "MISSING MAN" FORMATION TO TRIBUTE LEE KUAN YEW) but it failed to be recorded and put on air today during the coverage of the state funeral procession.
Some people watching from home were confused and thought that the fly-past may have been cancelled due to the downpour. However it still proceeded but it wasn't shown on TV, perhaps as the cameras on the ground failed to catch it due to the rain.
A member of the public caught a video of it from a high-rise building close by and shared the video online.
Many people immediately commented on it and shared how they were disappointed that it wasn't shown on TV. People had been looking forward to seeing the spectacle since it was announced on Friday.
The fly-over happened as the procession passed City Hall.
The missing man formation features 4 aircrafts flying in a straight line together with one going 'missing' part way through by flying off in another direction.
