Should let private with min 10 bus can apply for the permit to operate bus for public compete with SMRT and TIBS
Some regulation
1. Min 10 bus
2. Bus cannot be more than 10 year old
3. Must operate min 16 hr daily.

Why never open out the bus license? Taxi already open so do the bus.!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the 90's I remember they had those scheme B buses running during the peak hours. These were privately owned buses. Before that there were those mini NTUC buses. So this has been done in the past.

The only difference now is that the PAPies are too greedy & are unwilling to share the pie with others. They are even importing drivers from the PRC as Malaysians & Sporeans are now considered too expensive
