Hey boss. I wrote pretty well last time in a post and your moderator couldn't find fault with my writing/argument.

So he logged in with one of his multiple accounts and simply gave me an infraction, saying I was rude.

So how? This kind of bad attitude from your henchmen, why do people want to bother writing well in your forum?

Write well, cannot win the argument, just throw infraction.

Router is abt $90... USB modem not sure think abt there too... Use the USB adpt when solo... plug it into de router if 1 2 share network... Possible 2 power by car batt... so can drive 2 geylang, surf sbf, read fr then decide which kway to kio...

Aztech is a local brand. Good things don't come cheap, cheap things don't come good.

Aztech is famous for flaky products and firmware support. Don't say I didn't warn you.

still, krafty, microsoft & even flkyflky have given some good references based own user experience... so I guess I have nothing more to add. Your initial plan of 7.2 MBB for 3 user should be ok only for normal surf/email/occasional youtube watching. But intensive D/L, some more 3 user, ha ha cannot have lowest cost & best performance, rite?

my last comment is krafty - you veri happy with yr $25/mth usage as per yr own usage style right ?

I d/l jap av clips not movies too... so my mthly D/L only 1-2 G.
Using 1Mb MBB from M1 (normally connect at 3 MBB) my monthly damage is only $11/mth, data unlimited, anywhere anytime.... I dare say is lowest in Spore - but of course, my needs are modest. ($11/mth is half price at PC Show last year)

2 most common encryption protocols, WEP - Wireless Encryption Protocol, WAP - Wireless Application Protocol ....

actually downloading from mediafire or megaporn, normally at 120-150 bps...
1 Mbps actually sufficient for low-end users like me who don't play online games or heavy streaming ...

You don't have to worry about this. No WEP doesn't mean anything; WEP has been cracked already.

WPA2 is the standard encryption to use now.

hey,allow me to correct myself,there are WEP and WPA2 available.
The last time, i only set WPA but after firmware upgrade, realise there are the above other 2 options.:o

Went to Sim Lim, only brands available in Cybermind and Fuwell are Aztech and ProLink, got the ProLink because its Mac compatible, these are some commments.

Testing it with a 1mb MBB Starhub.
1) Youtube faster than 512k ADSL
2) Website if click to a page, 30-40% of the time the page will not load, will have server connection problem page, very irritating.
3) Sending email is fucking slow, uploading very unstable, slower than 512k ADSL

Will test 2mb next week, will let you all know the feedbacks.

Your example with "rice" is contextually correct. But did you know that the word "rices" does exist?

Testing it with a 2mb MBB Starhub.
1) Youtube faster than 512k ADSL
2) Sending email is fucking slow, uploading very unstable, slower than 512k ADSL
3) FTP 85% failed, got problems uploading
4) Torrent is excellent (70-50kbs average)
5) But once torrent turn on, streaming and websites sucks

I notice the uploading is very unstable, FTP, email and picture uploading are very bad. Upload to imageshack 60% will tell me uploading failed.

SO HOW NOW HAR? Should i upgrade to 7.2mb? :(:(:(
