Need Clarification - Hainanese Chicken Rice from Singapore or Malaysia?

This morning went to Holland Drive Market for Kway Chap and found that there is a new stall also called Sin Kee opened

They claimed that they are from the Margaret Drive Sin Kee, I could recognize the stall people there indeed they are from the original shop but used to be workers there.

Side track - Kway Chap is good

From Hainan.

Anyway who cares? Malaysia and Singapore were once one happy family.

P.S: Is that the Mei Ling Food Centre chicken rice? Looks familiar.

mei ling CR full of hype & no substance............... bestever was swee kee but not gone with the wind

Without any doubt.

Actually have another question, who invented bah-kut-teh, Malaysia or Singapore?

like nasi lemak........ the local hawkers improved upon it by leaps & bounds!

Just had Sergeant Chicken Rice at ION, not bad
