NDR 2022: No change to marriage definition 'under my watch' as next PM if PAP wins next GE: DPM Lawrence Wong

If you need a government to define what marriage is, and by extension what is acceptable/wholesome/virtuous/moral... you are going to open a can of worms and cause lots of problems in future.

But maybe that can of worms has already been opened, and daft Sinkies embrace a totalitarian nanny govt poking its nose into their every orifice. :biggrin:
 
I am guessing. All amendments to the Constitution would have been made before he becomes PM. His role then will be a watchkeeper to prevent changes to the amendments.

LW will be the 'watchkeeper' after all the necessary amendments are made before the current PM handover the job to him

Guessing they will change all definitions.

To be fair that's not necessarily a bad thing. Nobody can define what a woman is in America today. Some body pee standing up in the ladies says they identify as a woman what can u do? :confused:
