201six is the best year, for years and years we bitch and moan and cry over PAP to no avail, its like heaven is giving balless sinkies a helping hand.PAP scums are popping off one by one like flies.....hope this is a final destination thing, another 3 or 4 more PAPees bite the dust before the movie ends.

Will tens of thousands of sinkies queue up overnight to go pay their respects? Some of the grassroots leaders and myself would be going to bow 9 times before his casket.

remember to hug his dead morbidly obese putrified bloated corpse and refuse to let go.

That was why he fainted....he thought he heard his dad say, "lari, lari...then lekas, lekas"....but IM ( immortal minister) was calling out for the piece of lard....:D

SGH VVIP ward only built for 1 person. So Pinky went in and they diverted all resources to him. Prataman was switched off....

It had already been anticipated that he'll go once the National Day Rally is over. True enough. Just have to take him off the respirator.

You mean it has already been planned.. Even to die, u need to follow orders when to die.. This is what happen you lick PAP master balls to earn a living.

89 year old S.R. Nathan, (deceased) President in Singapore is entirely ceremonial. In other words, the man runs around as every other minister or minion in the country taking orders from the Supremo, the Magnificent, Lee Kuan Yew. It is well known that during the Japanese Military occupation of Singapore from 1942 to 1945, he served in the dreaded Japanese Military Police, the Kempetai allegedly as a translator/ interpreter from English to Japanese. It is rumored that he collaborated in the arrest and brutal torture, perhaps even murder of innocent Chinese, the longstanding enemies of the Japanese. Many Singaporeans of Chinese descent suffered greatly at the hands of the Japanese as they did in other parts of Asia, such as in Nanking. I will not be surprised that the Chinese of Singapore who suffered so much under the Japanese find SR Nathan being their president, a case of rubbing salt into their wounds.

After the war, he joined Lee Kuan Yew's police force, and to please him, he dutifully arrested and tortured innocent Singaporeans, every single person, who opposed Lee Kuan Yew's tyranny. Many innocent people have been tortured and imprisoned by him, merely for opposing his master, Lee Kuan Yew. His efforts were rewarded by the Supremo, by his being appointed the President at a salary or rather theft of Singapore’s assets of $4 million a year

I do, just before turning to your questions, want to note our sadness upon learning earlier today of the death of former – the former president of Singapore, S. R. Nathan, earlier today. President Nathan was a lifelong civil servant whose career spanned all five decades of the U.S.-Singapore relationship, including six years as Singapore’s ambassador to the United States and 12 as its president. We extend our deepest condolences to the president – to President Nathan’s family and to the people of Singapore.

Just a reminder to all the blurfucks out there who revere this treasonous prata-flipping thumby:

Sleeping With The Enemy

When the Memorial to the Civilian Victims of the Japanese Occupation ("The Cenotaph") was spray painted with graffiti, many were howling and baying for blood about the sacrilege of the war dead. Some of those outraged may be blissfully unaware of two living individuals who used to cosy up to the Japanese occupiers of World War II.

One answered an advertisement in the Synonan Shimbun and went to work for the Japanese propaganda department called the Hodobu. His job, deciphering intercepted cables from Reuters, UP, AP, Central News Agency of China and TASS, may have contributed to the capture, torture and death of many a freedom fighter. One of the editors, George Takemura, was pal enough to drop in in the evening and give him a packet of Japanese cigarettes from his own rations.("The Singapore Story", pg 63,64)

The other met his Jap buddy by helping him to buy fish and vegetable at the market. Soon he became errant boy of second lieutenant "Amaya-san" for pineapples and papayas (no mangoes, this was way before Michael Palmer's time). Amaya's boss, lieutenant Kokubu, treated him to miso soup and Japanese pickles. He even helped them build the Bakri memorial for Japense soldiers who died fighting there, the last major stand of British and Allied troops. Before long he was made an inspector in the Japanese police department, who hunted down the Malayan People's Anti-Japanese Army (MPAJA).

No wonder, after the Japs were finally kicked out, and he was looking for a new job, one Major McLean made clear he disapproved of the fact he was an interpreter during the Occupation and accused him of being a collaborator. McLean explained that the MPAJA had fought side-by-side with the British, fought many running battles against the Japanese throughout the Occupation. In SR Nathan's mind, the MPAJA were the bad guys, and the Japs the nice fellows. Worse, he told McLean he would carry a gun for the Eskimo rather than carry anything for the British. ("An Unexpected Journey, Path To The Presidency", SR Nathan, page 122)

CHUA Kim Yeow, a former accountant-general who later became a candidate in Singapore's first presidential election, died of pneumonia on Sunday morning. Mr Chua, 90, had been admitted to Singapore General Hospital after falling critically ill early this month.

In 1961, he became the first Singaporean to be appointed accountant-general, succeeding a British accountant. He remained in this role for 18 years during which he received the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1964 and the gold medal in 1975.

After retiring from civil service, Mr Chua joined DBS Bank in 1986 as executive chairman for seven years.

Just when he retired from banking in 1993, Mr Chua was urged by Cabinet ministers to run in Singapore's first presidential election to give voters a choice of candidates. He agreed and reluctantly stood against former deputy prime minister Ong Teng Cheong.

He received 41.3 per cent of valid votes. After the election, Mr Chua returned to corporate world and took up various appointments, including chairman of Singapore's stock exchange from 1994 to 2000 and chairman of Stamford Tyres from 2000 to 2013.

"The Board and Management of Stamford Tyres would like to extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late Mr Chua and express their heartfelt appreciation for Mr Chua's invaluable counsel and guidance to the Stamford Tyres Group," Stamford Tyres said on Monday.

Mr Chua is survived by four daughters, three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. His wife Seah Sok Meng died four years ago.

His wake is held at his home in Hua Guan Avenue, off Dunearn Road. He will be cremated on Wednesday.
