For some reason I cannot bring myself to order Satay Bee Hoon. Never tried it once. I keep thinking its malay and chinese dish and should not mix.


satay bee hoon at chomp chomp...big portion, gravy thick and rich with crunchy peanuts, with fresh see hum and lean meat, tau pok..got standard unlike those diluted watery type

Satay beehoon is an afterthought peasant dish. Satay seller got leftover sauce and invented this dish.

1. Technically not local but chicken cutlet at ABC's wow wow west.
2. Nasi lemak at Redhill market, Xin Xing. Doing well and have expanded to 2 stalls.
3. Chicken rice at Redhill market. Always long queue.

You should venture out of redhill / bukit merah more often

Cheong buddy and i would have Loy Kee chicken rice at Whampoa followed by satay & rojak. It is these kinds of 1000 calorie meals that forced us to buy gym membership
