Can't blame the hawkers. Blame the bloodsuckers whom the hawkers pay rent to every month.
And you can always expect some form of price increase after a hawker centre has been 'renovated'.

The only fines that will happen in Singapore is if diners did not return trays! No way will price control be enforced!
