SIFU was a nice chap in the old delphi forum and could talk to anybody about anything.
When we moved here, he was still ok, recall once he said that he was Lieutanent SIFU and did not mind even when some people joked that they forgot to promote him during reservist.
He was still ok then, and conducting various discussions with different forummers.

Dunno what happened to him. Maybe got angry because of Tonychat, and perhaps thought Sam was backing him.
Whatever it was, I just hope his personal life is not affected.
The lesson is not to let this forum affect us personally.
Too many flame wars and whatever wars, just log out.
Stay out for a few days if necessary.
Use the forum mainly for entertainment and to get information and engage in interesting discussions.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. Everyone is just a nick here. I don't know anyone here. never met a soul in real life. Have received numerous invitations for a cup of coffee etc but always politely declined. Went to one soc.culture.singapore meeting early in the days of the internet and realised straight away that it was not a good idea to know who's behind each nick.

I'm not for or against any particular nick. Everyone has their views and their reasons for holding such views. Many have more than one nick and use one to present one viewpoint and another to oppose that viewpoint.

Tonychat is just one of many nicks. If he starts posting pictures of shit and horses fucking, he'll be dealt with just like any other nick. I can't recall ever responding to any of his posts. The only dealings I had with him is when he asked for a chatroom. He posts to evoke a response and when someone responds, he considers his posts a success. If you want him to disappear, just ignore him.
