Just to share as learner for those keen in drum notes KNN- top x is the cymbals center is the snare or side drum and bottom is the bass drum KNN top cymbal red x is the qiang but my uncle don't know it leepresent which qiang KNN probably is upto you KNN you see many x is the hi hat cymbal is ongoing right KNN make sense ? KNN
 


Straight or swing beat theory is rather complicated KNN lust time my uncle's uncle told my uncle just take note that swing beat will sound like thousand seven thousand eight in hokkien I.e cheng (big cymbal) qit (hi hat) cheng (Big cymbal) puay (snare) KNN

If you're just starting out as a drummer, there are definitely some great beginner lessons out there. I totally get where you’re coming from—drumming can seem overwhelming at first, but with the right approach, it becomes super fun and rewarding!

I was in the same boat a while ago and found that taking ArtMaster lessons really helped me get started. They have a fantastic way of breaking down the basics like hand coordination, rhythm, and timing, which are key for beginners. At first, I was struggling with keeping the beat, but after just a few lessons, I felt way more confident.
