As a plus-sized woman, Ms Jaslyn Tan was originally hesitant to learn pole dancing.

The 28-year-old preschool teacher (@risingqsilence on Instagram) started attending classes at Slap Dance Studio only after her colleagues encouraged her to give it a try. And she’s since fallen in love with the sport.

After two years of hard work, Ms Tan is now able to twirl around the pole gracefully and nail the gravity-defying inverts effortlessly. She’s also confident enough to post her pole dance routines online, never mind the hate comments that might come her way.

How did she manage to overcome her self-doubts and achieve her fitness goals? Find out more in this video!

That is not pole-dancing. That is pole-destroying. The structural integrity of the pole will diminish everytime her bodyweight act against it.
She definitely gain confidence in her self-delusion....
Why are women always 自欺欺人 ?

WHY Do people use the term Plus Size Women? why we cannot just simply call it fat or obese women?

Body positivity nonsense. Cannot call fat people fat or you hurt their feelings. Call them 'plus sized', 'curvy' or 'big-boned'.

Same reason why we cannot call big-neh-neh women dua-liap-nee. We can only call them busty or bosomy....

Same as Singapore PAP calling people Bus Captains instead of Bus Drivers?

Bus captains, service ambassadors, sanitation specialists.

Nothing more than word games played by bullshitters.

If oppies took up pole dancing, it would help a lot with their low self esteem.
