A lot of 50-plus year old unemployed, unemployable, retrenched are given this kind of redundant job, such as staring at MRT passengers, arguing with passengers, making trouble for everybody.

They can be seen wearing SMRT vest and staring at you as you enter the turnstiles.

Gov't is forced to give these Old Losers a job, lest they go "kachau" the MPs. Or perish forbid, pour petrol on the MPs and light up the petrol.
