North South Line hit by hours-long train service disruption

A track fault has halted train service between Yew Tee and Kranji stations towards Marina Bay, according to SMRT.

SINGAPORE: A track fault caused a disruption in train service between Yew Tee and Kranji MRT stations for more than three hours, according to transport operator SMRT on Monday (Feb 23).
At about 3pm on Monday, the SMRT tweeted that train service towards Marina Bay was unavailable, and that it was providing a free shuttle service between Choa Chu Kang and Kranji.
At about 6pm, SMRT said on Twitter that train service was still unavailable.
