More than 100 nabbed in anti-crime sweep
First islandwide crackdown this year; suspects arrested for drug and vice-related offences, gang activities

In an islandwide anti-crime sweep coordinated by the Criminal Investigation Department, police officers rounded up 113 people for an assortment of offences on Saturday morning.
A mix of Singaporeans and foreigners between the ages of 17 and 50 were taken in for gang-related activities, drug offences, unlawful employment and vice-related offences.
Some entertainment outlets were also found to have breached licensing conditions.
The operation, which involved officers from all six police land divisions, started last Friday night.
