We are looking for missing person Yaacob Ibrahim, age 55.

Yaacob Ibrahim has been missing from public view since the worst flood in the country's history in terms of flood damage on 16 June (Wednesday).

Commenting on the Bukit Timah flood in Nov 2009, Yaacob Ibrahim said it was a 'freak' event that occurs 'once in 50 years'. However, it has hardly been a year before we have witnessed flooding again on a similar scale.

Yaacob has been Minister for the Environment and Water Resources in PM Lee Hsien Loong's Cabinet since 2004. He is reported to receive a salary upwards of 2 million Singapore dollars.

Perhaps he was drowned and washed into Marina Bay while trying to clear the clogged drain?
