ah tharman early morning yaya-papaya-ly declared no floods in sg ...but @ nite sheepishly issue statement say dat floods do occur in sg ...

Lim Hwee Hua: singaporeans should look at the water level over time, instead of how many floods per monsoon season.

Ass Loong: It's better to have one big flood immediately than a few small floods spread over time.

K Shanmugam: Singapore takes a 'total' approach when it comes to combating flooding.

How about, owners, tenants or residents in charge of the flooded premises at the time of flooding shall be fined $10,000 for not taking precaution by building flood-proof barricades or similar facilities. (Maximum up to $30,000 fine for repeat offences.) The public have to be responsible for themselves; can't expect to rely on the government for everything.

PM: the flood levels will be increased to 7 percent, from the current 5 percent... (to help the poor):eek::eek:

Good one bro. That has been their tone on many issues as of late. Some ridiculous answer and then something that people will benefit from.

No-Porn Lui: "I've got two ways out, one way to the left when we got out of the house, within 30m we could see a car stalled, so we quickly reversed and went the other way. We went along Lorong L, and halfway through we said the water is too high, we reversed and got out as well."

Hahaha, that was what he actually said. :)
Weren't you the one who said cannot when I used the "Singaporeans are the weakest link in the fight against floods"?
Nevertheless, it's still damn funny, hehehe.

LOL. Apologies...but what Lui said was so ludricrous and amzingly, it was not even made up by me. He actually said all that drivel.

Old Man Lee: It's an act of god.

LOL!!! Hahaha!!!

When things go wrong, LKY conveniently blames it on God, regardless of whether he believes there is God or not.

When things are smooth, the PAP claims credit for them. :D

Yeoh Cheow Tong: "Only 5% Singapore flooded. Majority of Singapore not flooded."
