try to think of his achievement and greatness today than his flaw.

He is the greatest stars of his generation.

Thriller is still the bestest MTV ever made."

Yes please! Bro I fully agree with u. Remember MJ for all his greatness and achievements, for the joy and excitement he brought to all music lovers all over the world, for his talents-singing and dancing. Forgive his excesses and mistakes esp. in a complex country like the USA where celebrities living the high life under the constant scrutiny of the media is just so commonplace and routine. He never claims or portrays himself as an angel or the perfect human specimen. RIP!

there's music playing when log into this page. who's doing that?

I think that he was already so handsome at the time of Off The Wall and Thriller. At the time of Bad and thereafter, he seems to have some kind of whitish fetish, meaningless and regrettable, in my humble opinion.

this is sad news

i saw him in concert in national stadium, best concert i ever saw.

it is really sad news.

Micheal . you are a great artist. we remember your songs and MTV forever.

I was in secondary school then...

MJ's greatest contribution was his amalgamation of music and video

He was the first king of MTV

The world always waited to see his new choreography and story-telling with every MTV release

Too bad he couldn't draw the line between MTV and real life

Would like to point out that what MJ had "whitish fetish" mentioned by our bro here is a incurable skin condition call vitiligo. MJ did not wanted to be white as misunderstood by many. I am having the same problem as him. MJ what you have done for Pop music was GREAT. Rip

Always remember the good and happy memories of another, not the bad if possible.

What a legend! :)

Micheal . you are a great artist. we remember your songs and MTV forever.

Earlier this month, it was David Carradine.
Yesterday, it was Farrah Fawcett.
Today, it's Michael Jackson.
I wonder who will be next?

Good people who provide entertainment to the people usually die early & unexpectedly.

Bad people who bring sorrow & suffering to the people usually live very long & laugh their way to the bank.

Truly an exceptionally talented chap that cuts across 4 decades. Many remember him as the King of Pop but many do not know why he was called that.

Unlike the Beetles, Elvis, Queen and other great musical groups, Michael did something that no ones else had done.

He reinvented the music, the clothes, the style and the dance for every decade and none of it resembled the previous decade. His biggest impact was MTV and video. His visuals were groundbreaking - the moonwalk, black or white and the changing faces etc. His first hit never resembled his last which all the other great musical acts could not emulate. Only Santana came close with a big gap in between. The only other thing that Michael missed out was Woodstock and Santana had it.

Finally "Black or White" brought the world to his doorstep. Enjoy!
