Meridin at Medini and Astaka Project in Iskandar - any good?

Very impressive. As with all things the problem is whether can deliver or not. Anyway the surroundings is still quite bad. Low cost housing and abandon buildings surrounding it.
Malaysia still need time. Such a development will be okay in KL but not yet (if ever) in Johor

Whether they deliver or not; I do not know. But I feel the current price of between RM1200 to RM1550 range a bit far fetching.

Just went to malaysia property show at MBS, got offer for Astaka, for selected units they are selling at near pre launch price (after taking in account 8% rebate). The price is a little higher coz they factor in GST. Also no more DIBS. The rest like loan and legal fee absorbed.
 
Launch price is at RM1200-RM1500... if that is what you are shouting about....

The VVVVVVVVVIP price is RM880.

every type of unit and each facing still available including penthouses.

they are selling at "The VVVVVVVVVIP price is RM880" + 10% price. Of course the 880psf is for the lowest and blocked facing (face phase 2, low/mid floor likely blocked) I calculated 960psf for mid floor. All the pre launch offer still intact except DIBS.
