Mediacorp losing interest in what they are doing

Yesterday afternoon (Sunday), I visited my parents and mum was watching Channel 8. To my astonishment, Channel 8 was showing some local celebrities selling pans, and cooking scallops, fried rice like Uncle Roger.

I was bewildered because once upon a time, I used to watch Super Sunday (Taiwanese variety show) with my dad on every sunday afternoon. I cannot imagine that Mediacorp stoop so low now. On sunday afternoon, sell me pans, at night how me some ultra-long taiwanese drama (although i love the pretty faces). I begin to wonder if mediacorp's management are still interested in what they are doing? Temasek should sack all of them for such fug-up attitude, agree?

Anyway this was the girl on TV yesterday afternoon, what's her name, she still look so good over the years, uncle like!

Yes, recent years Miss Singapore real ugly, probably won in the name of diversify or feminist values in Q&A. Can easily find a few girls from each local KTVs who are prettier.

I am fine with them importing good shows but local production is really bad now, everyday cooking show, Chef this, Chef this, even good imported dramas on weekdays 7pm becomes only 30min. WTF!!!!

i gave up on local drama since 2005, hopeless from script, to the performing skill of the artist, to the director's capability to the quality of the scene (means how the light cast for interior and exterior) presently even the vietnam and Thailand TV drama qualities much better than ours. for PRC, sad to say they have all the money to spend on equipment but the quality of the script and artist are sucks. *basically the artist has no performing skill, just handsome and pretty.
