She's amazing. Her success debunked two "truths" my secondary school teachers taught to me.
1) Girls who marry young will not succeed in life.
The school teachers were on the ball about this. They kept giving us talks about pre-marital sex and how marrying young will only ruin your life (especially if you are a girl).
2) If your diploma is not from a recognized polytechnic, your life is over.
They didn't actually say "your life is over", but the meaning was clear. They kept going on and on about how it's a MUST to only go to a government-recognized polytechnic for your diploma and how private schools were inferior and only for losers etc.
Well, as far as I know, many of my classmates who went to polytechnics are currently jobless and looking for jobs. But this girl who went to an "inferior" private school absorbed the important knowledge of business and went on to establish her business empire. Good job, I say.
Moral of the story: Don't always believe what your school teachers tell you.
