According to several school chatgroups,
Market crashed for Sec 1 posting (2025-intake)

  • Record in-take of foreign students (defined as children whose parents not born locally), some exempted from second language
  • Many 2024 P6 Dragon Year babies unable to enter preferred school due to surge in Cut-of-Point (COP).
  • COP is either unchanged or spiked (more difficult) for almost all schools, hinting to surge in demand across the board.

stay-tuned!!!

Such complaints are from parents of sub-par Sinkie children.
They are try for special treatment for their stupid kids.
.
Parents of majority kids are not affected.

nothing wrong, local kids have at least a father or grandfather who served NS.

yet, many foreign kids who don't fall into this category, get placements in elite primary schools and now depriving more of their dream secondary schools.

What's wrong with protecting your own folks?

the feeling is like working harder and making more money but you realized that inflation is so high that you end up with smaller house or car.

We can no longer catch up with the pace of life in Singapore.

perhaps much more from CECA, as maybe many hundreds of thousands of CECA Indians already converted to citizens many years ago, so their children now register for sec schools

Yes, you are correct

This year's cohort is larger, not mainly because of birth rate.
Data Analytics:
  • The current P6 student cohort is only 5-Year high, no 10 years, not 12 years.
  • This is within normal range, yet COP is much tougher now, reflecting the influx of foreigners into Singapore

Coolie gene Sinkies shouldn't be concerned. After all your children are not going to amount to anything in life anyway. When they grow up they too will be entitled to CDC vouchers and of course the daily arse fuck by PAP which you as parents are enjoying today. Majulah.

Lucky my kids are all grown up and won't be facing this fucked up situation. These selfish parents voted a d asked for it. Well deserved.

hci cop 6m > ri cop 6.

hello moe iz ze ground shifting tad 2 much?

RGS is 5. This is why singapore can't produce any nobel prize winners because genius in maths and science will not go to top schools if they are weaker in English or Maths.

I am waiting for MOE to blame the dragon babies for being born that year. We wouldn't admit it is due to foreigners and new-citizens, like our property-rally.

This does not concern the malays. We will continue supporting PAP.

The standard of our six madrasahs are very high these days. Not only some kids from madrasahs begin to win inter-school academic competitions, they are also overwhelmed, having to cope with PSLE syllabus and a few other arabic or religious subjects. In fact, my nurse friend got to quit to coach her kid in madrasah because of the huge workload.

Every year, some have to drop out to switch to mainstream schools.
