A scuffle between 2 Vietnamese youth at Hotel Boss @ Jalan Sultan this morning turned into a gruesome tragedy after one of the men fell 15 floors down the newly built hotel to a gory death.

According to Chinese dailies, the incident took place in the early hours of this morning. 2 Vietnamese youth hailing from the same home town in their home country got into an argument in the lobby of Hotel Boss before moving their quarrel to another level of the building.

The argument escalated into violence and a scuffle ensued.

One of the youth fell 15 storeys to his death. Police retrieved parts of his body from the 1st floor of the hotel grounds and his head from the 4th floor of the building in the vicinity of a restaurant operating in the premises.

The other youth was rushed to the nearest hospital in critical condition with deep cuts to his head.

Police are investigating.

SINGAPORE - A Vietnamese man was decapitated at Hotel Boss in Jalan Sultan early Wednesday (March 29) morning, his body found in a drain on a fifth-storey sky garden, and his head outside a fourth-storey restaurant.

Mr Nguyen Ngoc Duy, 23, is believed to have fallen from a 15th-storey room, and hit the sky garden's railing, severing his head from his torso, according to Lianhe Wanbao.

Another Vietnamese man, 21-year-old Vu Truong An, had a slash wound on his head, and was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.



After Mr Nguyen fell, Mr Vu reportedly rushed to the first floor in the lift to seek help from hotel employees, who called the police.

In response to The Straits Times' query, police said it received a call for assistance at the location at 2.30am on Wednesday (March 29).

The 23-year-old was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene at 3.31am. The police is investigating the case as unnatural death.

Mr Nguyen was on a short-term visit pass, according to the Chinese evening daily, and was supposed to return to Vietnam at the end of March.

The hotel room had been booked by Mr Vu, an ITE student, and he had invited five friends for a staycation, including the deceased.

Lianhe Wanbao understands that an altercation had taken place between Mr Vu and Mr Nguyen, although it was unclear over what.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Mr Nguyen's body was taken away at 8am.

Scdf medics did cpr on the head found on 4th level but the headless body on 1st level showed no sign of life. It can therefore be safely concluded that the decapitated person is dead.

Boss hotel's lobby looks nice on the pictures you see but the actual rooms are superior small around 14Sqm in size and also since it's under hotel 81 confirm it's used for those types of purposes go read the reviews on tripadvisor about this hotel where they mentioned a lot of fuck ups in the rooms that you would expect in places like hotel 81 or frangrance.
