Of the back 4, Evra is the weakest link. Vidic is OK but not as fantastic as Jaap Stam. Low key player and gets the job done.

The biggest disappointment this season has got to be the lacklustre display of the forward line-Rooney and Tevez. They are running out of excuses and I expect Fergie to wield the axe at some point.

Jaap Stam would not have left if he did not get into Fergie's bad books.

It seems many MU players did not get into Fergie's good books. It's only a matter of time for Ronaldo to leave the club like Becks, Jaap, RVN.

Evra was one of the consistent performers last season.
Vidic is good. Without Vidic, Ferdinand would play like shit.

After Stam left to play for Lazio, Fergie went to watch him play and said that he regretted letting him leave too early. One of the few.
Ronaldo should be allowed to go at the right price.
You're right about Vidic and Ferdinand, Vidic allows Ferdinand to take chances and to play with the ball.

Ronaldo wouldn't move to Real Madrid for at least another 2 seasons. He makes all the media look like clowns and make his transfer saga into a circus show, because he wants the world to know he is the most sought after Superstar and can then table his request to be one of the world's highest paid.:o

In short, he is just making use of Real Madrid to get MU to pay him more money

Man U should acquire the services of Giovinco who is unsettled at Juve and possibly Marek Hamsik from Napoli. Bothy these players would more than compensate the loss of Ronaldo in the event he decides to leave for REAL which is almost as certain as death.

this weekend against Bolton Wanderers, used to be one of the bogey team of Fergie when Sam is still their manager.
With Ronaldo back in action, this is the type of team that he will thrive on.
So I am expecting at least an 4-0 win for Man Utd with Ronaldo on the scoresheet.

These kind of names don't interest MU. Fergie prefers either homegrown or foreign talents with slightly a bit of reputation

the penalty turned the game else Man Utd find breaking down the organised defence and plan of Bolton very difficult.
well in soccer,a lot of times will depend on your luck.
Liverpool had it for a few games, look like the Red Devils is having it also.

congratulation to All Red Devils on their 2-0 win over Bolton Wanderers.

Name your foreign talents with a 'slightly bit of reputation' or whatever. Homegrown bias? No more la dude. They decided to do away with it years ago.

Foreign talents with reputation: Berbatov, Tevez, Anderson, Evra, Vidic, etc.
Home grown talents: Jonny Evans, Darren Gibson, Frazier Campbell, etc.

I would like to add on, FT, Nani,
Owen Hargreaves, I am not sure whether one would consider him FT because he was playing in GBL long ago and not in EPL. He was called up into England while playing in Germany.

Who's FT? Fernando Torres? Doesn't count because although Fergie was interested in him, he ended up with Liverpool.
Hargreaves is a different category - British players with a reputation before they joined Man Utd, players like Carrick, Ferdinand, Rooney, etc.

FT shortform means 'Foreign talent'

I feel Hargreaves is a bit of foreign player, because he started plying his trade overseas rather than from England before going MU. He was drafted into England team after being spotted with good performances overseas. Then everybody was asking Hargreaves who?:p.

Carrick, Ferdinand, Rooney, all started playing for English clubs before moving to MU.
