Would the gal have reported to the police that she was raped if the boyfriend had not found her sleeping together with Ong? Even if it was consensual, but illicit because she was somewhat beholden to the boyfriend, crying rape would be the natural course for a woman caught with her pants down by her boyfriend.

Ong knew the woman even before the evening when she was allegedly raped. Prior to that, did they have sex before ? The law says it's rape if sex is non-consensual. The law does not say you can't have sex with a drunk woman. If they had had sex before, then the issue of no consent would not be as clear cut as it had been made out to be. The people must understand how men interpret women’s non-verbal sexual cues such as facial expressions and body language. In a court of law, one speaks of consent as if it is some contractual agreement dated, signed and witnessed by a commissioner for oaths. But that is not how things work in the thick of action.

For sure, it's wrong to rape. But the law must protect the man from being falsely accused just as much it protects the woman from being sexually assaulted against her consent. Both men and women have the social responsibility to prevent the crime of rape from happening.

I feel that the law is overly biased against men.

In almost all countries, if a rape allegation is raised, 90% of the time, the man will surely lose, because it is assume that no sane woman will wrongly accuse a man of rape. But...... in most cases, the female so called victim's identity is concealed! So there's nothing to stop a vicious cunt from wrongly accusing a man of rape!
