Man arrested for stealing motorcycle parts

SINGAPORE: A man has been arrested on Thursday morning for allegedly stealing motorcycle parts.
The 31-year-old suspect was nabbed at 5.45am at the Woodlands Checkpoint.
He was leaving Singapore on a motorcycle.
Police found various motorcycle parts in his bag, as well as tools which are believed to be used by the suspect to commit the theft.
Police said since March, it has received several reports about motorcycle parts being stolen from housing estates in Woodlands and Bukit Panjang.
The suspect will be charged in court on Friday.
If convicted of theft, he could be jailed up to five years and fined.
