Man arrested for mischief by fire

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 24-year-old man believed to be involved in a case of mischief by fire at the carpark of Marsiling Rise.
Nine motorcycles and two cars were affected.
On 24 October at about 4am, police were notified of motorcycles on fire at the carpark of Blk 129 Marsiling Rise.
The fire was extinguished by officers from the Singapore Civil Defence Force using two water jets within 10 minutes.
The suspect was eventually arrested in the vicinity of Airline Road on 29 October at about 9.00am.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect is believed to be involved in the arson case.
The 24-year-old will be charged in court on Wednesday for the offence of mischief by fire.
If found guilty, he faces a maximum jail term of seven years and a fine.
