SINGAPORE : A 38-year-old man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a spate of cash card thefts from vehicles.
The cards were reportedly stolen from the in-vehicle units of cars parked in an open car park at Beach Road.
The man is believed to have been involved in at least three such cases where the drivers had also reported missing valuables from their cars.
The man was arrested at Pending Road on Monday, and a key believed to have been used to open car doors was also recovered.
The suspect will be charged in court with theft on Wednesday and if convicted he can be jailed up to three years and fined.
