We can keep as pets solely for hunting and guarding properties.
Actually we can still touch dogs. Except tat after coming in physical contact, we have to cleanse ourselves cos as Muslims we have to pray. The cleansing part quite lecah. Tats why may as well avoid coming contact with them. Save the hassle. But as practising Muslims, we should not despise, criticise or torture them. They are still makhluk Allah.

So pigs are innocent? So why are they haram?Very true. Animals are innocent. Any faults lies of their owners. Like tat day at my taman, tat jiuhukia jalan jalan with his dog. Poo here and there. Never bothered to remove the poos. Nowadays i avoid walking on grasses.
