look more like a self propelled gun or howitzer to me. its stupid to have big tanks or ships nowadays, it will become sitting duck. i think they are more interested in researching to increase the power of the ammo or the armor then to build bigger tanks! bigger tanks, more fuel consumptions, bigger targets, logistic nightmare, harder to replace and repair. nowadays its about speed and power, not size.

Malaysian Army has 100% regulars. Even reservists coming back for annual standby or incamp training are ex-regulars. Malaysia in recent years introduced NS by drawing lots. Those that kena toto go in for 6 months training and bye-bye, that's all, no more reservist. Malaysian Army is almost 100% Malays. There're enough Malays in majority willing to do it and sign up for it. They don't want Malaysian Chinese there anyway.

In a straight-out land war between Malaysia and Singapore, I estimate Malaysia would crush Singapore like Japan did even if they're outnumbered 1:10. Singapore's serious defences in context of versus Malaysia are the air force and the navy.
