imo,the flight might have landed in other destination. the msia govt could have received a ransom call but is covering up.

this case has some similarities to the 2009 Air France 447 crash. but the France plane sent back error messages to computers on land before it disappeared. the mudland plane simply disappeared.

2 things I am sure are happening.

1) The RSAF is studying tapes from its Gulfstream GS550 AEW flights for that night. The RSAF keeps round the clock aerial surveillance on Malaysian airspace with these GS550s, especially over the RMAF primary airfields. I am sure the radar on this plane also picks up low level aircraft in case the 777 decided to fly at sea level to avoid ground based radar.

2) If the RSAF has radar tapes on this flight, I don't think they will reveal it to the Malaysians for fear of a diplomatic incident.

why would RSAF dont reveal it to Msians because of diplomatic incident as the capablities of the GS550AEW are already known. who is rsaf bluffing when they took delivery of the AEW in the first place. The only question i have is can the GS550AEW or the old AWAC that was on duty that fateful night able to look out so far north over gulf of thailand in the first place?

The Malaysian police reportedly raided the house of the chief pilot of the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 to investigate if there was anything strange about his behaviour in the days following the ill-fated flight.

While the Malaysian authorities denied that a raid was ever conducted, police sources said they had questioned the pilot's family and were investigating if there were any underlying mental or psychological issues, but said it was a routine part of their investigation, News.com.au reported.

Describing the pilot Zaharie Ahmad Shah as an "aviation geek", who made more than 18,000 flying hours during his three decades at Malaysian Airlines, the Airlines said that he was entirely devoted to his job.

With the search for the missing plane nearing almost a week, numerous theories about the plane's disappearance have emerged after it went off radar on Saturday morning just 40 minutes of take off from Kuala Lumpur enroute to Beijing.

Correct me if wrong we have atc on pulau pisang which shld logically cover approaches into straits of malacca - which means if the flight deviate there p pisang will noe

If it can be confirmed that the aircraft flew on for a further 4 hours, it can only be either hijacking by passenger/crew gone wrong or pilot suicide (with the sole purpose of ensuring the plane is never found).

I still think the plane is not in the sea. It is a deliberate act by the pilot. A video of him being searched at the boarding gate showed him staring into the camera. This is not a normal act for someone who had to do it so often.

Based on all the info presented so far, there is a possibility that the plane had landed in Pakistan/Afghanistan. A real embarrassment to the fight against terrorism if it is true.

Probably hijacked, refueled with the passengers offloaded somewhere and then taken off to somewhere else to be used as a missile on strategic targets, in the meanwhile ongoing negotiations for the (remaining) lives....im sure to shoot a few tiongs just to get them to stfu and behave.....
