No Islamic state exists as such.

To ensure a state can survive, first and foremost need is defence. Which means nuclear bombs and ICBM in adequate number in the modern era. No OIC member can claim to possess such.

If a country can't even defend itself from external attack, quite naturally, its policies will be compromised. It can not pursue independent policy.

Your current version of the quran is based on edited versions of the 1924 Egypt version and the 1985 Saudi version. There are also no surviving copies of any versions of various qurans from uthman's time.
