Race politics is very difficult to overcome. We see videos of mainly Chinese, with very few Malays, confronting the Bangla or Burmese instant voters. Many Malays would rather vote for the corrupt BN, than supporting PR and let Chinese have more upper hand in the country's affairs.
So after this election if we see a Chinese in Malaysia everyone could presume that he or she is pro-opposition, while the Malays and Indians can easily hide their political inclination. The implication for Chinese could not be good.
Before tonight I thought Singapore could be inspired by a regime change in Malaysia. However, now it seems that may be the change will take place in Singapore first.
