Hey seriously I am speaking from real experience of giving way to my Malaysian Chinese neighbor from hell for one year and even sweeping their public road for free. Any good come out of it? Nothing. You are right. I have written on this several times since the late 90s in this forum in response to dummies beating their hairless and scrawny chest thinking that the SAF is some sort of invincible powerful killing machine.

There is zero chance that Singapore can survive within the few hours of battle after Malaysia neutralises Singapore's "powerful" airforce by cratering the runways and roads meant as alternative runways, as well as destroying the pathetic 20-30km supply lines, military bases and other civilian and military targets that the MAF has already identified for destruction with their artillery and MLRS. The newer AR3s have a range of 280km. This means the Malaysians do not even have to base their MLRs in the hills of Johore. They can base them further up North in the states of Malaccca, Negri Sembilan, Selangor and Pahang.

In the years of dealing with Sinkies, I find that they are only exam smart. They are pathetically stupid in the area of common sense and simple analysis. You see these dumbfucks talking about "war", "invasion", etc as though it's a walk in the park. Or that the Malaysians are too dumb and powerless to respond or do anything. Or that the MAF are armed only with their kris, kampung-made catapaults, bows and arrows. Those in the know, the paper generals and officer corp, as well as those in the civil service including those in government and those with at least half a brain, know fully well that Singapore cannot survive a military conflict. Like me, they have their exit plans for themselves and their families fully in place. This includes the government fleeing, ostensibly to set a up a "government-in-exile" to oversee any military conflicts in the safety and comfort of Australia

Sinkies are really, really stupid fucks. They need to take a good hard look in the mirror and ask themselves whether they can even fight a simple Ah Beng fight in a coffeeshop before they spout rubbish and nonsensical shit about "war" and "invasion".

there would be contingencies, plans, exercises, mobilization, but there would not be an invasion. do you know what it would require to move just one full division across the straits at the start of operations then? 86 was when i had to coordinate with s3's in all active units and rewrite the manual on the crossing. we were all (all the g staff) looking at each other in the map room and going "wtf?!" and we knew we would never pull the trigger. next year, we only managed to acquire and gather the bridging and crossing assets to do a simultaneous crossing exercise of one lousy active brigade. we hadn't had the new and higher capacity choppers yet for a heliborne drop of a full battalion simultaneously. we had to make several sorties with vietnam-era huey's just to bring a heliborne battalion to bear. how in 86?
