there is no more free education for the malays - the govt has removed them many many years ago ..

in fact, the ones that are receiving priviliged education are the Chinese majority now .. with SAP schools, CDAC etc ..

Dear Forummers, Please have Mercy.

I think we are dragging our local Malay bretheren for another round of unnecessary thrashing.

We fail to forget that our local Malays, just like our local Chinese, Indians and Others belongs to these country.

These country that our forefathers built as a united community.

The Malays have their roots here which are very deeply entrenched.

Their children's future is here and nowhere else.

Just because Malaysia may seems to be liberal towards them does not mean it is their fault.

Are local Indians not regarded specially by the Indian Government? (Non-Resident Indians or NRI etc...)

What about the Chinese Government?

If the Malays here have taken up these opportunities in Malaysia, can we blame them?

How sure are we that local Indians and Chinese have not done like-wise in India and China?. Buying lands and owning homes, etc...

Why are we treating the Malays as "objects of suspicion?"

They have been with us since time immemorial.

Please accept them?

Scenario:

What if India or China declare war on our Nation?

Will the Indian and Chinese FTs here support their respective countries or die for us?

Think carefully and please leave our Malays here alone. They are part of us.

Doesn't matter. The various 'sensitive' classified units in the SAF do not have a single Malay soul in them. Not one.
Military Security Department will never grant them the required clearance.

The SAF does not trust the Malays. End of story.
