If he gets 1 year's jail for stealing $32, I wonder how many years Kong Hee and gang will get. Amount misappropriated was $50 million. That will be about 1-1/2 times x 1 million = 1.5 million years.

a theif is a theif ...the goverment should just put him in prison for 3mths and find some charity organisation to send food to his mother everyday . after he get out from prison the gov should help him find a job .

Yes, he should be punished, but by jailing him, who's gonna help his handicapped mommy on a daily basis? And his "crime" did not hurt anybody, there is no need for harsh punishment.

bro , thats why i say soical workers or charity organisation should takecare of his mother if he go to jail ...but i think its impossible . if he can get away with theft then others will follow him and start stealing .
