Mahathir to extend time as PM

According to Bloomberg, Mahathir promised during the campaign to step aside once Anwar is pardoned.

He did not extend. His deal with PKR was that he will stay until Anwar is released, stand for election to enter parliament and then to take over from him. A two year period was estimated all along.

So Malaysians obviously think they are entitled to justice while their Singaporean victim of their theft slandering and harassment are not entitled to justice. Didn’t I say these thieves slanderers and harassers are self entitled hypocrites?

Got one such Malaysian thief just created a new nick called Goalion and think he is so smart thief. He must be one of those stopping Najib at the airport.

Don't know, and it does not matter. Mahatir learnt from mistake of giving up power too early, he will not repeat his mistake. One area he should learn from LKY is to pass on power to family members. He should stay in power till his son become PM. Whether Anwar can be trusted? Will have to see. He was once trusted by Mahatir but turned to bite the hands that fed him, bad dog! Wise old M will not repeat his mistake no matter what people say.

I don’t know too as obviously I didn’t expect Mahathir to win and never bother reading what he said until the day of his election win. However it’s quite critical to know what was actually agreed to see his credibility. Looks like Bloomberg should be correct then since no dispute. Anyway smart of Mahathir to do this. Just revoke GST then two years later leave it to his successor to find the money when not enough. Meanwhile do other highly popular moves to go after Najib should earn him a big good name as good as LKY.
