SINGAPORE: There was a minor flash flood along MacPherson Road on Sunday evening.

A hotline caller told Channel NewsAsia vehicles had trouble moving along the flooded roads at around 6pm.

Within an hour, however, the waters had subsided.

Shopkeepers in the area said the drains had overflowed onto the road at about 5pm hours earlier.

They added that it is a common occurrence during heavy rain.
