A 79-YEAR-OLD woman was charged yesterday with burning an Indonesian maid on the arm and hitting her.

Maimunah Ahmad, who came to court in a wheelchair, allegedly used a heated kitchen utensil to burn Ms Puteri Andanari’s right upper arm at a Tampines flat in November 2009. The following month, she allegedly hit the 23-year-old domestic worker on her body with a plastic clothes hanger, and hit her on the head three times with a plastic ladle.

She is claiming trial. The case has been adjourned to July 11. She is out on police bail of $5,000.

That was the idea of doing community service...they visitors get two orang utans ( sorry satu orang tua) for the price of one & the Indonesian maid can have 3 mths free access to the zoo & throw ba na na s at her & the bf can sly show his also.... ha ha ha

BTW, if macik is on wheelchair, can't the maid step back and avoid being hit?

Prayers are just prayers lah! The Malay rights must be protected lah! "ATAS TUDUNG BAWAH WARUNG!" This is their philosophy of life, prayers & actions must be seperated lah! Otherwise why ramadan? It was not for them to practice patience or a whole load of other craps that they are professing now, it was simply to starve those bastards so that they will stop killing each other! But after the celebration business as usual!

An elderly wheelchair-bound housewife accidentally touched a heated pot but blamed her Indonesian maid for it. Maimunah Ahmad, 80, then turned on the stove, heated a metal ladle on the flames, and pressed the ladle on the maid's arm twice.

Miss Putri Andanari, 23, yelled out in pain. Maimunah applied toothpaste to treat the burns. However, these worsened and Maimunah applied medicated oil the next day. This worked but a district court heard that the burn marks are still visible.

The incident occurred in November 2009 at the family's Tampines flat. The following month, Maimunah hurt the domestic worker, this time by hitting her with a plastic clothes hanger and a plastic ladle. Maimunah, who pleaded guilty to hurting the maid in November last year, was fined $15,000 on Tuesday.

Miss Andanari, 26, started working for Maimunah's daughter Daliana Abdullah, 44, a property agent, in September 2009. The daughter is also facing charges for slapping the maid, pulling her hair and slamming her head against the wall.

Maybe business as a property agent was bad compared to others who may have done better. So take it on the maid............

As for the old hag, seeing the maid as young, active and healthy, may have brought her senile brain back to the good old days when she (old hag) was a "a dance for 50 cents" hostess on top of being a Anchor Beer waitress in Bunga Tanjong Joget Hall, patronized by lecherous people.

The old hag should be sent to jail where she will REPENT.

Which is the correct version??

If Macik on wheelchair, how could she "press" the ladle on somebody who could jump away with her two legs when in contact with the hot ladle?? Unless the wheelchair is for show.
