</TR><!-- headline one : end --><!-- show image if available --></TBODY></TABLE>

<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->VISITORS will be allowed to use the skybridge on the 50th storey of Pinnacle@Duxton, while the one on the 26th storey will be reserved for residents who will be issued access cards.
The Housing Board will charge a yet-to-be-decided fee for its use by non-resident visitors. It will be the first such facility in Singapore to levy a charge, with probably the integrated resort at Marina following suit on completion.
The Duxton skybridge will surely be a national and international attraction, and so generate income for the town council. I am surprised that the HDB has informed future residents at Pinnacle that monthly maintenance charges will be higher than those for other HDB blocks, to cover the higher cost of facilities, apparently to ensure proper use of the skybridges.
Should the HDB not wait and monitor the level of use before deciding on higher monthly charges? What if it turns out to be a constant, healthy revenue stream?

Would anyone really want to pay to go up there? I have doubts.
Even for someone like me who doesn't suffer from acrophobia, just looking at the bridge makes me uneasy.

CCB every little chance they get they try to make money.

Even say higher charges for residents.

How many that already bought flats there will "pooey chou nua" on hearing that they have to pay higher charges than other HDB flats.

KNN only in Singapore. Uniquely Singapore.

THe skybridge for people who feel depress after chalking up too much modern debts !

If the mezzanine floor of the casinos offers a too elitist setting for their takeoff then they would probably creep there and elsewhere to do the one big thing in their pathetic lives.

what if those who stay there accumulate too much debts and decide to take a jump from that bridge itself? will it bring down the value?

If only one jump, police will said is an accident. If more than 5 jump from the building very soon they will have to buit 2m glass wall .
When that happen price will definately drop.

Any loser who pay money to go up to a stoopid housing estate should be shot, and be dragged by his balls by a horse.
