LTK is talking about public housing, we are talking about public housing for the commoners not investments and playing commodity !

In land scarce Spore, mah is right abt land reserves issues.
You are also rite tt Mah nids to disclose construction costs and govt profits from such sales.
Land is land and whether it is allotted for commercial or residential, there has to be a value tagged to it.
A full disclosure of the cost - profit will give the pple an idea of how much national "reserves" they are contributing to the govt's coffers... and they will also be able to next determine how generous the govt is to them in returning them the "growth" dividends...

Another big issue---why all PRs allow to buy public houses , there are more 500k in singapore , you know what we are dealing with ?

When Lim Kim San was task to build HDB. The main aim was 居者有其屋。Which means the people should have a roof over their head at a affortable cost.

My respect to HIM, he has done it and majority of Singaporean have a roof over their head.

Now MBT has take over .. what has it become? PAP developer PTE LTD..The aim is to make money for main company PAP Pte Ltd The people of Singapore become unwilling customers..

LIke wise when NTUC was form by the old guards of PAP. It main aim is to control basic food and item price as there are Bussiness association control by big tow kay at that time that exploit the people. It was a good measure by the old guards. Thank you SIRs.

Now LSS take over. It has become a joke for him to wear zerro costume, turning the NTUC union into paper tiger and a resting place for PAP retired MPs or some waiting to become PAP MPs..

Yes without the old guards we will not be here today and i appreciate it..

Unless you want him to fabricate a lie that's the only thing he will do.
All he can do is make the people believe in his asset enhancement theory,
that's the only defense he will have.
The other defense will be the threat issued by MM, that if PAP lose tampines,
then the value of our flats will suddenly depreciate drastically.
But in doing so, he is indirectly hinting that the MIW has completed control on the value and pricing of our flats.
All the talk about free market and demand versus supply is just bullshit.
 
HDB flats are public housing .

These pigeon holes sit on on stateland which is leased to HDB leaseholders, the HDB flat occupiers dont own the land !

Hence Mr Low is right to say lowering land costs will see a more affordable price.

By right, if a concerned govt build public housing for the people on stateland which is returnable, cost of these land should not follow the SLA or LTA standard of price selling to private developers !

Mr Low did not anytime mention about all land price must be reduced but WP is only concerned about real affordable public housing !

For public housing, land cost cannot be a major factor !

For private housing, who fuck care how SLA wants to sell the stateland at the price they love !

Also, MBT did not answer LTK question---what is the cost of construction ?

no business in the world will tell you their cost price for their product ..means ...PAP is treating HDB like a business ...
 
Paying themselves obscene salaries when so incompetent, is that also rading the reserves?
