Poh Chong Heng, 27, a jobless father of two, was charged yesterday with Mr Chen's murder. Two men were charged on Monday and another two are still at large.
"I read media reports on a third man being charged in court on Tuesday with the murder of a 20-year-old full-time national serviceman at Central Square on Havelock Road on December 3.
"Poh Chong Heng, 27, was allegedly part of an unlawful assembly that led to the death of Chen Zi Xuan at the carpark of the building between 5.30am and 6.15am.
"Poh's two alleged accomplices, Desmond Neo Han Wen, 24 and Lee Boon Leong, 22, were charged on Monday.
"The trio were remanded at Central Police Division for further investigations. Poh will be back in court on December 13.
"According to news reports, the whereabouts of two more alleged accomplices are also being traced.
"If convicted of murder, they could face the death penalty.
"I'm enraged after reading this article. How can anyone take a human life this lightly!
"The papers stated that NSF Chen Zi Xuan, 21, was going to save money for his university education after his service with the army next year.
"The bright future of this man, ended by a moment of impulse and anger.
"Rest in peace."
